Principal Melanie Gover

WELCOME to COLD HILL ELEMENTARY HOME OF THE CUBS!

Message from Mrs. Gover

Cold Hill is a small school tucked in between the Daniel Boone National Forest and the bustling I-75. Our school reflects the close-knit community it represents. It is my absolute honor to be the principal at Cold Hill Elementary. Our staff is committed to a set of core values that builds a lifelong learner and a successful citizen. These core values include having a positive mindset, maintaining high academic achievement, working together in a collaborative environment, and striving for growth every day (PAWS). These values are supported by the social-emotional learning that takes place daily. These efforts are led by our Guidance Counselor and our Family Resource Center.

We strive to make Cold Hill a fun and engaging learning environment, where all students feel safe and loved. We encourage the CUBS characteristics: caring & understanding, being responsible & respectful, putting safety first, and doing our best every day. Our students have great pride in being a CUB. We demonstrate this pride through school-wide pep rallies, basketball, cheerleading, archery, academic team, and much more. We encourage every student to be an artist through our art gallery and “starving artist café”. We reward exceptional behavior through Paw-some cards and have regular drawings for special café seating in the cafeteria and prizes.

We would love for you to come be a part of our wonderful school!

ONCE A CUB ALWAYS A CUB!
