Welcome to Wyan-Pine Grove Elementary, home of the Comets. We are a K-5 school of approximately 400 students that has been serving our community since 2007.  We have a very modern school building that we feel is one of the nicest facilities in the state of Kentucky.  Our staff prides themselves in continuously improving as well as utilizing the latest classroom techniques and technologies. 

We all want our students to meet the skill requirements of a vast and rapidly changing world.   We are also a very kid-centric school that strongly encourages creativity from our students, and we also implement student-generated ideas into our school. 
Though we are one of the youngest schools in Laurel County, we have already established a rich tradition of academic excellence.  Our staff and students all pride themselves in “Reaching for the Stars.”  
As the principal of Wyan-Pine Grove, it is my honor and privilege to lead such an amazing school community.
