Congratulations to the SLMS Academic Team for winning the District 44 Governor's Cup! The quick recall team finished as tournament champions, the future problem solving team finished as district runners-up and the team won the overall district championship. The following team members placed in the top 5 in content assessment and will advance to compete in next month's Region 11 Governor's Cup:
Tristan Hodge - 1st place in math and 1st place in social studies
Kaiya Scalf - 1st place in arts & humanities and 4th place in math
Lauren Scheithauer - 1st place in language arts and 2nd place in math
Jaxson Allen - 2nd place in social studies
Haley Hensley - 2nd place in science and 2nd place in arts & humanities
Max Morris - 2nd place in arts & humanities and 4th place in social studies
Rayley Greer - 2nd place in language arts
Ayaan Ali - 3rd place in science
Bailey Wilson - 3rd place in language arts and 4th place in composition
Tate Jenkins - 4th place in science
